Airports

Public Transportation

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), more commonly referred to as "The T", offers various public transportation methods to get around Boston at a very reasonable cost, operating the Commuter Rail service, Local Bus service, and Subway.

The T Commuter Rail Service – The T Commuter Rail system comprises 11 Lines and over 100 T stations, each located in specific "zones." The closest station to the Hynes Convention Center is the Boston Back Bay Station, which is located a half mile from the Hynes Convention Center. The following Rail Lines run through the Back Bay Station:

The T Bus System – The local bus system runs Local, Inner Express, and Outer Express Buses and even part of the T Subway Silver Line. Numerous bus routes service the Hynes Convention Center. Fares start at $1.50.

The T Subway System – The T Subway System operates 5 lines that service downtown Boston and outlying areas. To get to the Hynes Convention Center from Logan Airport via the subway you will need to board the Massport Shuttle Bus from the lower level of any terminal, which will take you to the Airport Station of the Blue Line. Board the Westbound Blue Line train (marked Bowdoin Station) to Government Center. Once at Government Center you will need to transfer to the Green Line trains. Follow signs to the Green Line and board Green Line Train B (marked Boston College), Train C (marked Cleveland Circle), or Train D (marked Riverside) to the Hynes Convention Ctr/ICA Stop. Once you get off the subway, choose any exit and follow the signs to Hynes, only 3 blocks away.

Train Service

Amtrak has multiple train routes that service the city of Boston. The closest station to the Hynes Convention Center is the Back Bay Station, which is located a half mile from the Hynes Convention Center. There are 3 routes that service the Back Bay Station:

Taxi Cabs and Limousines

Taxi cabs can be secured at the concierge desk or bellman stand at meeting hotels. The fare to Boston Logan Airport is approximately $38. If you wish to reserve a sedan, private car, or limousine, please contact your hotel concierge.

Shuttle Bus Service

As all meeting hotels are within walking distance of the Hynes Convention Center, shuttle bus service will not be provided.
